🧱 What is the Layout Section in Blogger?

The Layout section lets you organize your blog’s structure without touching any code. You can manage how widgets, menus, logos, sidebars, and other elements appear on your blog using a simple drag-and-drop interface.



🛠️ Step-by-Step Guide to Using the Layout Section

✅ Step 1: Open the Layout Section

In your Blogger dashboard, click on “Layout” from the left-side menu. You’ll now see a visual layout of your blog’s structure with editable sections.

✅ Step 2: Understanding the Layout Structure

  • Header – where your blog title, logo, and navigation bar go
  • Main Section – includes blog posts, sidebars, featured posts, etc.
  • Footer – bottom part of the blog; perfect for copyright and links

✅ Step 3: Editing Each Section

Click the “Edit” button on any gadget to modify it. You can:

  • Change or remove blog title/logo
  • Add new gadgets like Featured Posts, Labels, Popular Posts, etc.
  • Drag gadgets up/down to rearrange
  • Enable/Disable widgets you don’t want

✅ Step 4: Adding New Gadgets

  1. Click on “Add a Gadget” in any section
  2. Choose from available gadgets like Search Bar, Pages, Archives, Contact Form
  3. Customize the title and settings
  4. Click “Save” to apply it
